Death was an American death metal band from Orlando, Florida, founded in 1983 by guitarist and vocalist Chuck Schuldiner. Death is considered to be among the most influential bands in heavy metal and a pioneering force in the extreme metal subgenre of death metal.
Death, one of my two favourite bands of all time. With their incredible sound and such unique vocals by the era they were playing, they revolutionized the metal music industry giving a new path to Death metal since. Charles Evil Chuck Schuldiner most known by (Chuck Schuldiner) was the lead vocalist and guitarist of the band, He was an extraordinary human being, his songs talked about social problems in this world and human mind. He along with Kam Lee drummer - vocals and Rick Rozz guitars, started as Mantas in 1983 then changed their name to Death in 1984.
Death, ‘Human’ (1991). Death frontman Chuck Schuldiner helped define the primal, relentless sound of death metal on early demos (under the name Mantas) and on the band’s 1987 debut, Scream Bloody Gore. But on Human, the group’s fourth LP in as many years, he threw a wild curveball, enlisting guitarist Paul Masvidal and drummer Sean Reinert, a pair of young hotshots (and co-founders of the influential band Cynic), for an album that seamlessly reconciled the intensity of early Death with prog’s chops-mad technicality.
DEATH’s burning speed and ferocity was only matched by Chuck’s unbending determination to bash out the most boundary crushing.
